Mural Crew students learn how to create blueprints, the rules of scaling, interpret drawing and design, to create on a grand scale. The murals are exhibited and continue to be displayed at local businesses, schools, and cultural organizations.

Transforming public space, the Mural Crew has been splashing color in downtown Lowell with a variety of themes, including:

  • “You Are What You Eat,” partnering with the local Farmers' Market
  • “Music” in conjunction with the annual Lowell Folk Festival
  • 140 foot mural compromised of 15 separate panels by 17 artists, exploring Lowell's immigrant history and community
  • McPherson Park Large Scale Mural
  • 5-story painting at O'Leary Library UMass

This summer, Mural Crew will unveil 17 "Urban Art"-inspired murals on Merrimack Street during the 25th Anniversary of Lowell Folk Festival.
