Our MissionThrough public art, exhibitions, and educational programs, Revolving Museum promotes artistic exploration and appreciation. We encourage community participation and growth, and provide opportunities for individual empowerment and collective change. About our ProgramsAs a successful innovator in the city of Lowell, RM provides transformative youth programs for youth ages 12-22. The museum’s talented artists and educators expose them to the creative process and introduce them to new ideas, skills and life opportunities through after-school and summer programs. These programs include: (click to view) All of our programs operate under the philosophy “Do-to-Learn"—A hands on approach that requires students to take responsibility and commit to themselves, their peers and make important contributions to the community. Students participating in our programs experience increases in academic achievement, higher high school graduation rates, and are more likely to enroll in post-secondary education. These hands-on, mentor-driven programs make it possible for participants to become inspired and inspiring catalysts for positive social change and to engage constructively in Lowell’s civic dialogue. |
