Pollard Memorial Library and The Revolving Museum present Teddy Bear
Picnic. Join us for a morning of teddy bear stories and songs. Bring a
snack to enjoy at the end of the morning. Children are encouraged to

Balloon Animal Workshop with Gustavo

The
Revolving Museum presents a hands-on workshop teaching how to make
balloon animals for children (8 y.o. +) and adults. You will make five
of your own balloon animals to take home, plus your own hand pump and

an evening of art, fun, and great company! Pat Wymore and Elaina Bates
will lead an exciting self portrait art making workshop. Members and

You Are What You Eat--Merrimack Murals Dedication

Friday June 26th 3:00pm-4:00pm 200 Merrimack Street Free Event All Ages
A yoga pose morphing into a pomegranate, a dancer spinning into a banana, a strawberry nourishes a wrestler.
These
are just some of the vivid imagery painted by Lowell teenagers that
will grace a 100-foot long fence on the 200 block of Merrimack Street
in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts over the next six months.
An
opening celebration for the mural will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009
at 3pm at the mural site at 200 Merrimack Street. Meet the artists and
learn about their exploration into learning about health lifestyles.

Green: More Than a Color

As
part of “Green: More Than a Color” Revolving Museum youth have been
working hard to create cool, movable, mosaic murals depicting fruits
and vegetables. They will be unveiled at the event in the courtyard.
This
special collaborative event among Lowell’s art galleries and
eco-friendly organizations will provide the public with educational
exhibitions and demonstrations. Taking place in and around the
beautiful Market Mills Courtyard in downtown Lowell, four art galleries
will be opening exhibitions with environmental themes. Simultaneously,
several “green” organizations will set up information booths so that
the public may learn about issues of the environment, recycling, waste
management, conservation, organic farming and much more. Youth from the
Revolving Museum will unveil their movable, mosaic fruit and vegetable
murals in the courtyard.
