The Revolving Museum's On the Fence exhibition of carnival-size banners was hung along the fences of a Big Dig construction site in the Fort Point, Boston as part of the museum's Tunnel Vision public art series during October 2000. 22 banners were created by youth and artists to promote the visibility of the Fort Point, the largest art community in New England.
The Revolving Museum is offering these banners and future ones for sale and sponsorship. Listed below are ways you and your company can help support local artists, youth and the Fort Point community and enliven your workplace!
By supporting the corporate banner program, you will convey your philanthropic interests to a large viewing public. Past and future On the Fence exhibits are outside and visible to the public 24 hours a day. Your banner will be noticed by the thousands of employees from local internet technology groups, e-commerce businesses, architecture firms and other companies that have offices in the Fort Point. And dont forget the plethora of artists, postal employees and Big Dig workers who walk the streets of the Fort Point around the clock.
1. Sponsor a New Banner
Take part in the evolution of Tunnel Vision with The Revolving Museum and commission a banner specifically for your workplace. Sponsor the creation of a new banner for the spring 2001 exhibition and a community artist will create a painting especially for you. (Please note that corporate logos will not be added.) In addition to the artwork created on your behalf, your philanthropic endeavor will not go unnoticed. Your banner will be displayed along the fences surrounding the Big Digs central artery where thousands of people will view your artwork and your generous contribution. You will also be recognized as a supporter of The Revolving Museum and public art. After the exhibition, TRM will install the banner at the location of your choice. The standard for donations are as follows:

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you and your employees to boost team morale and creativity in the office place. This appointment may be scheduled at your convenience and artists will come to your workplace. Supplies are included and your insight and imagination is welcomed and appreciated. This option is available to you for an additional $2,000.
